CHEDDAH is neutered high energy Mountain Cur. The Mountain Cur is a type of working dog that is bred specifically for treeing and trailing small game, like squirrel and raccoons. They are also used for hunting and baying big game like bear and wild boar as well as being an all-purpose farm dog. Curs are a member of the Hound group, and the Mountain Cur is one of several varieties of cur. It can also be used as a water dog. Mainly bred in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee. Cheddah was found roaming in my neighborhood in Muskogee, Ok. Much effort to find his owners, but he was never claimed. Cheddah loves to play chase with his ball, a pink rope with a knot tied in it. There are plenty of rope toys in his fenced backyard, but his favorite is the pink rope that he fetched on command. He plays well with all spade female dogs of all sizes. He loves to be out of doors, weather permitting. He has a crate indoors that he stays in when inside. Cheddah needs a big fenced yard or farm to run and play. He is very intelligent and tries to outsmart you. He can open a door, a gate and the cabinet with treats. He needs some hugs and loving. If you'd like to adopt this sweet boy that was abandoned on the street please contact Diane 918-816-8761. Adoption fee $150.00.
