This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. This is such a sweet dog. We've had him since he was four months old. However, I was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago, and in the meantime, he has been attacked by three men, a couple of cats, and the neighbor's dog, who had been left out unsupervised and came into our yard where he was on his runner using the potty. I was present, and I saw the entire incident, and my dog was not the aggressor. He's traumatized by the experiences and he needs someone that is going to be patient with him and love him. He is frightened of people right now but it seems to be just towards men and he really loves kids and women. He has decided he no longer likes cats although we have always raised him around cats and a couple of my cats are still his friends but my one cat attacking him the last time just upset him and he shook her. He didn't hurt her but it was stressful for everyone involved. He's a very good boy, but he doesn't like going out in the cold or the rain and he likes lots of pets and kisses. We love him so much, but I just don't have the ability to care for him any longer because of my health. We're looking for a home where he can be spoiled for the remaining years of his life. Our family is heartbroken but we do know that this is the right thing to do for him.
