About JETHRO (cell program)

Jethro, a charming and energetic three-year-old dog, weighs 42 pounds and joined our loving family a month ago. He has quickly become a sweet and spunky boy who loves nothing more than food and treats. Jethro's happy-go-lucky nature makes him an absolute joy to be around. He loves to play and knows some basic commands such as sit and beg. Going for long walks is one of his favorite pastimes, and he adores being surrounded by people who shower him with love and attention. Unfortunately, Jethro had an accident that resulted in the loss of one of his eyes. However, he showed tremendous resilience and bravery throughout his surgery and recovery process. Today, he has made a full recovery, tested negative for heartworms and Lyme disease, and is up to date on all his vaccinations. He has also been neutered, ensuring that he remains healthy and happy. Jethro is currently enrolled in an eight-week basic obedience course, where he will learn fundamental commands such as sit, stay, come, leave it, and heel. Additionally, he will undergo crate and leash training to improve his socialization with other dogs. Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
