Timber is 16 month old, housebroken, crate trained, sits on command, fetches, takes treats nicely, walks great on leash, very high energy, loving, playful and loyal but is aggressive when meeting strangers. My daughter in law adopted him from a rescue at 8 weeks old but she had a massive stroke in January and cannot care for this rambunctious boy. The rescue org. has nobody that can take him. I took him to my house to try and find him a forever home, but he is not getting along with my 3 older rescued dogs and the situation has become dangerous and I am desperate. I think he would do great as an only dog. He was raised with kids and cats, but because he is so rough, I would not recommend young children. He has stranger aggression, but it doesn't take him long to warm up. Because he barks when meeting new people, he has scared potential adopters away. He is a big puppy with us in the house. He has never bitten anyone but is intimidating when you meet him. I am so afraid he would be Euthanized if I have to bring him to a shelter because of this behavior. He is a beautiful loving boy who deserves a chance and is only being rehomed due to his owner's sudden inability to care for him.
