About Niko

Niko is an 8 year old, 13 pound Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix with bits of other breeds tossed in. He is a great companion and a cute and loving pal, fostered currently in Portland, OR. Niko is well house trained and prefers to sleep with his person. He is a handsome and trim lad with four white boots and a curled tail. Niko loves to be with his person and will follow his person in yard activities or lay on a lap or nearby. Niko is neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and has had a recent dental. He is in tip top shape. His adoption fee is $150. He has been taught to spin on his hind legs recently by his foster dad. Niko loves walks and car rides and can stay in the house loose on his own though may bark initially when left. Niko is seeking a low traffic household in which he has company most of the time, with rescue experienced folks. A great home for Niko and his must haves include: 1. An owned or stable renter home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Adopters who are not gone long hours. Niko can stay alone for up to five hours, but really prefers the company of his people. 4. Folks who will treat Niko as a family member and include him in their fun outings.
