About Henry

Adoption Fee: $350
Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

3/27/24 Henry is currently living in Tacoma, WA and can be met with an approved application. Henry was 1 year old lab/shepherd/heeler mix when he was adopted during COVID in 2020. He's now about 5 years old and is a sweet and rambunctious boy. Due to a change is his families living situation they feel he would be better suited to a new home that can offer him some space. Ideally he would have a home with a fully fenced and secure yard that he can run and play in. While he's no longer a puppy he still has fun and playful energy. A home with a family that would love to include him in walks, runs, hikes and/or adventures would be amazing! Henry loves to be around people and other dogs, but could use some training and socialization that he didn't fully get in his current home. Specifically, he loves playing with other dogs, but doesn't always know how to approach them at first so a slow and proper introduction is best and being familiar with the process is key. He can be reactive to animals he views as prey so please don't apply if you have cats, rabbits or other animals of the type. He responds well to training and redirects nicely. He's house and create trained. The adoption fee is $350 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed. Tall Tails Rescue has a commitment to these dogs for their lifetime and we hope you do too!
