About Carrot

Happy Spring! Our adorable foster bunny Carrot is looking for a loving, forever home! Carrot is still a baby bunny, at only 5 months old. Carrot is a purebred Mini Rex bunny, making him non-shedding and hypoallergenic! He would be perfect for a home that has allergies! He has fully transitioned from alfalfa over to orchard grass hay, but he is still on Oxbow Young Rabbit alfalfa based pellets. Though the picture shown is of him playing outside, he is a fully indoor bunny. He is almost litter-box-trained, and is learning amazingly fast! He is in his ex-pen at night and is free-roam during the day. He will absolutely NOT go to a home where he will be caged. Rabbits need just as much space, love, and attention as dogs and cats. He has such an energetic, puppy-like personality. He will follow around his humans and jump into our laps! He gets one cup of green leaf lettuce every morning, unlimited pellets, and unlimited orchard grass hay. He will also live for another 10-12 years, so keep in mind that this is a long-term commitment. We are currently fostering him for a family whose apartment didn't allow for pets. He is absolutely the sweetest bunny ever. He needs a home where he can run and binky to his heart's content! If you are looking for a free roam bunny this Easter and think you'd be a good fit for him, please reach out as we are moving and need a new home for him as soon as possible! He will come with his litter box, a bag of hay, a bag of litter, the rest of his food, some toys, his bed, and his hideaway.
