During intake, she was tense and nervous, and despite being overweight, she wasn't interested in treats. Although initially nervous, Lady R is a sweet and social older gal looking for the perfect forever home. She does have some medical needs that the staff will address with potential adopters. She loves to play and will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for her energy. While she may find the shelter environment a little overwhelming, once she's away from the chaos and in a peaceful space you'll see what a love bug she truly is. Lady R is playful and friendly with children and cats, she loves treats and she's said to be a happy, social and affectionate girl. One thing to note is that she doesn't like going back into her kennel, so she'll need a soft landing and a soft doggy bed in a loving retirement home.
