About Leo

Meet Leo! Male, long haired, about 6/7 years old, front declawed, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. This unique guy showed up on a loving family's porch. They took him to the vet and discovered he was microchipped. The previous owner said she gave him away 5 years ago and could not remember much more. Poor Leo was in rough shape and needed dental work. The vets pulled some bad teeth and cleaned the few remaining and he is feeling much better. Leo is a very sweet, happy, easy going guy and can warm up to other cats and dogs. This love bug is a bit of a talker and will be a clam, loyal companion to you family. He enjoys snuggles, pets, brushing, lounging around, sunbathing and supervising your every move. His foster mom reported that he did not use the litter box but preferred to do his business outside and uses the doggie door. In another foster home while undergoing medical care, he used the litter box perfectly (soft wood shavings litter was offered , it is often more successfully used by declawed cats). Leo is low maintenance but does require brushing to keep his gorgeous coat tangle free and wet food is recommended due to his lack of teeth.
