About GG

Meet GG- the Gigantic Goofball! He had a ruff start in Georgia and traveled north to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in hopes of finding his furever family. He is estimated to be a young guy, around 1-2 years and weighs 85 lbs. This handsome pooch thinks he's all puppy despite his size- while he is house and crate trained, he still is improving his puppy manners (jumping, mouthing, chewing). In his mind, he's a lap dog and sees nothing wrong with sitting on his hooman's lap. G has been fostered with several dogs and has done well with them all. Cats are unknown at this time, and any full time kids must be teens (or older) due to his size and strength he doesn't realize he has. We're afraid he would knock the smaller ones down. He is also working to improve his leash skills and his greeting skills. He has overcome heartworm disease, has been neutered, and is current on shots and preventatives. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
