About Athena (5 yrs old)

We got Athena from Denver Dumb Friends when she was 1. She is very sweet, and great with all humans, including little kids. But she gets scared and goes after other dogs sometimes. She loves most other dogs, but food and toys are problematic. She is great in a 1-dog household with people around. She is a spayed, 100% potty trained love muffin. Great on a leash. She is five and is settled down a ton. She rarely shows aggression to other dogs, but she sometimes does. She has a basket muzzle she tolerates quite well for dog parks. I have elderly family with dogs I need to spend time with who do not want to chance it. She loves to swim and she loves chewies - only digestible please. She will overeat if allowed to. Loves vegetables-even frozen, which is cheap and easy. Need to keep her weight normal - she got a knee fixed last year, but the other will likely also tear if she gets too big. She has lived with another dog for the last four years and plays well with most. If she really wanted to hurt another dog, she could. She has never really injured any dog she has tussled with-just scratches. Maybe monthly, she will stop and bark at men, but never had an issue with women or children of any age. Plleeease consider this beauty. You won't regret it! No love like Pittie love!
