About Rory

Rory is a 3 year old female Bernese Mt Dog. She is the absolute most loving, playful and sweet tempered dog. She needs a family that has an active lifestyle and that includes her and keeps her busy everyday. She loves going on walks/hikes, going in the car and just playing in the backyard. She's never met a stranger and absolutely loves everyone. She is a poop eater. If you don't clean up the yard daily�'�|she will do it for you. She can be a little weird with other female dogs sometimes but does well with males. She's gentle with dogs of all sizes and ages and especially LOVES puppies! She needs to find a new home as we had a baby recently and currently have 4 dogs in our 1200sqft home. It's too much for us to manage right now and although It's a very hard decision, we have to prioritize the quality of life for everyone in our home. Rory needs more than we can offer her at this point in our life. We will be very picky about who we let adopt her and will require meeting everyone in the home, seeing the home, doing pre-adoption play dates to make sure it's a good fit, etc. We've had Rory since she was 8 weeks old and are heartbroken to find her another home but again, it's necessary for her best quality of life. We ideally would like to find a family in the CDA area that would allow us to keep in touch and visit Rory. We're really going to struggle with her being rehomed.
