About Balto

URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED! Video included. Friendly is this dog's middle name! We are looking for a foster or better yet a loving home for Balto! He's not just handsome, but he's also unique- looking. Balto, a Lab/Saluki mix, is around 2 years old. He didn't hesitate to give us hugs and kisses, even though he'd just met us. He's a big sweetheart who thinks he's a lap dog! He gets along great with other dogs and has an amazing temperament. But Balto's story is a sad one. (His previous owner experienced a mental health crisis and had to be hospitalized, leaving Ballot in need of a new home. His owner, due to ongoing mental health issues, can no longer care for him. A kind neighbor rescued Balto from the Apple Valley shelter, and now he's in a boarding facility, but he needs a forever home as soon as possible. He's such a wonderful dog!
