PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 11-month-old female Terrier, about 12 pounds. I am cute as a button, and I am ready to rock! I'm really quick to learn, love to stay busy and active, and I'm so agile! As a terrier, I would love a job...agility training or barn hunting anyone?? My leash skills are coming along but will still need work. Sometimes my foster mom wonders if I'm part husky because of my singing skills when I feel left out or don't want to be in the crate ��%A4� I like other dogs, love having play companions, and really like exercise. I also have quite the appetite, so I like lots of training opportunities throughout the day. I'm super interested in kitties; they look like fun play companions! I can be a little mouthy, so young children might not be the best match for me at the moment. It does take me a little while to warm up to someone new, but then my eyes will be on you for direction and affection. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
