About Wednesday

WEDNESDAY is a 18 month old, 14.9 pound Chihuahua mix (likely Min Pin or Dachshund) who was found as a stray. Her owners were located but did not want her back because she kept running away. She is incredibly friendly, outgoing, and loves to snuggle! She would do well in a family with a more active lifestyle who would include her in their everyday life! She does great riding in the car and would make a great errand or adventure buddy. Wednesday has a friendly personality with other dogs and would do well either as an only or with another similar sized dog. She is still learning that her kitty foster sibling has boundaries, but would probably do just fine with a little time. She has not been around kids but we think she would love children to play with. Wednesday is potty trained and has had zero accidents in her foster home! She walks well on a leash, but sometimes gets the zoomies! We are requiring ahome with a fenced yard for her due to the circumstances of her surrender. She loves a good walk around the neighborhood and always greets every person and dog she meets. During the day, Wednesday likes to stay close by playing with her toys or resting in her dog bed. Did we mention her tail never stops wagging? And when her tail wags, so does her entire body! She loves to snuggle up in the big bed at night. She has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you're looking for unlimited tail wags and the sweetest kisses every day of the week, Wednesday is the girl for you! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive.
