Hoping we can meet in person? To know me is to love me! I'm a super cute 1-year-old Mini Schnauzer weighing in at 9 lbs. I'm a high-energy pup who loves to play, chase balls outside, I love squeaky toys, and taking long leash walks with you. After a day of excitement, I enjoy snuggling with you on the couch for a nap. I need lots of cuddles, human affection, and a good ball-throwing arm. I also need someone who is home most often, is retired, or works from home. I don't want to be left alone if we can avoid that most of the time. I came from an unsafe environment and can be scared easily, especially around new people or dogs. I take time to adjust to new faces, new places, and need your patience and more training. In return, I will provide you unconditional love, and be your loyal loving boy. I find great comfort in a quiet home with one adult who enjoys playing ball and snuggling with me. I'm not fully potty trained quite yet in the house, but I am crate trained. I am improving with frequent trips outside. A secure fenced-in yard is a must for my exercise and zooming needs. I also need regular monthly grooming to keep me in tip-top shape and looking my best for you. Did I mention I am super cute and everyone wants to pet me? I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. I have Diabetes insipidus (this is NOT related type 1 or type 2 diabetes) and my foster mom will explain. Don't let that scare you because it is simple to help me. Mostly it means I need access to a secure fenced yard so I can relieve my little bladder frequently. I am also taking a daily medicine, it is not expense and yay I am expected to have a normal life expectancy Lucky ME!!!! If you think you're a good fit for me, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for Scout. Note that you must be a Florida resident, at least 25 years old, and your past pets should have been be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and have consistent veterinary care. Thank you for reading my information today. If this is here , I am still available for adoption fans!
