About Maverick

I have been trying to find a place for our dog Maverick. He is an American Bully. He is very sweet to everyone once they are in the house, but he is an escape artist and has now charged our elderly neighbors twice. I am a mother of eight, my husband moved out six months ago and while I do not want to put Maverick down you are my last hope for helping him find a family that can dedicate more time to his training and energy. Here is some information about him. Tricks: sit, stay, up, gentle kisses, lay down, And bed. Behavior with other animals and people. He is gentle towards other people after introductions but shows aggression towards animals outside the home. Requirements: Needs a fenced in yard with space, house with no other animals. Dog Food: Bully Max, will eat vegetables Neutered: yes Up to date on his shots and vaccines: yes Chipped: yes Maverick loves to snuggle and has a lot of energy. He loves to run and play fetch. He would greatly benefit from some more in depth training. He is a protector of his people and is easily excitable when it's time to play. My oldest son is autistic and we initially rescued Maverick from a kill shelter in Oklahoma when he was picked up as a stray. I am literally desperate. I will travel for him to live his best life.
