About Kingston

Hello everyone. It really hurts me to have to create this post, but I'm doing my best to seek for help finding Kingston a new home. Unfortunately he is now labelled as aggressive by animal control in my city. He was let out in the backyard for a few minutes but then he jumped the fence and got out to the front and bit a dog that was being walked by it's owner. He is not aggressive to people or children, he grew up with my daughter since she was 1, and he loves visiting the vet and licking people. He's been around other pets in the family and has done fine. He doesn't like squirrels or possums that come to our backyard, and I believe that he ended up becoming more territorial and it led to that incident. He is a very sweet boy, he is trained and is obedient, he will sit and wait to eat his food. He is very excitable and hyper when played with or meeting new people, and we have not neutered him yet. He can be very calm as well and lay around inside of the house most of the time. We do not want to give him up, but animal control is not giving us much options, except to rehome him or he will be surrendered and put down. We currently have about 11 days left before they come take him from us. Im really hurt about the situation. We really need help finding him a home or a rescue shelter that can take him out of Killeen, TX so he wont be put down (they said he cannot live within the city limits- so it has to be anywhere else as long as it's outside of Killeen). He did not deserve any of this and its been a really tough situation. If anyone is interested please please text or call me at 254-845-0099. We can talk about everything more into detail.
