About Tessa

German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

She was found Sunday morning, March 24 in the Garden Lakes neighborhood of Avondale, near Lakeshore Drive and 109th Dr/Avenue. She was scanned at a hospital and AZ Humane Society. Contact information on the microchip file yielded no viable contact results. Family and friends as well as various social media posts have only yielded one interested party. Attempts to contact this person have not been successful either. Her compatibility is generally unknown-she has gotten excited or anxious when outside of the car and around people of all ages and animals (dogs), howling and barking. She hasn't had contact with many people except myself, my sister and veterinary/shelter personnel. Aside from this and the shock of being abandoned by her owner(s) she has been docile and well behaved. UPDATE 03-25-2024 12:48 PM: Of all the posts, we've made on this kiddo, only one party was interested. Unfortunately, we ended in a delayed game of 'tag' and I have yet to be contacted. Tessa, as her chip indicates is now at the Rob and Melani Walton-Papago Park Campus of the Arizona Humane Society at 5501 E Van Buren St, Phoenix-602-997-7585, ext. 2063. Her ID is A769429 if any interested parties or leads to locate her family come along. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to all who assisted with tips to get the word out and reposts. God bless you all!
