***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Meet FROTO!!! Currently in the Treasure Valley, ID This sweet, healthy, long-legged 6-month old, 60-lb boy with the gorgeous gold eyes needs a furever home that includes another furry dog playmate. He was found stray as a skinny, skinny puppy on 2/6/24 caked in mud (see before photo) and obviously had been on his own for some time. He appears to be a mix of several breeds including poodle, or even Airdale, Irish Wolfhound, or Scottish Deerhound. FROTO is friendly with adults and kids. He is good with other dogs, inquisitive and shy at first and doesn't get overly rambunctious. See videos. FROTO has been deemed 'cat-friendly' as he is currently living with cats and has met others during applicant meets. FROTO rides well in cars. He is doing well on pack walks. FROTO has a healthy appetite. He is housetrained and crate-trained. FROTO is still a puppy, so will need some reminders for good behavior (appropriate chewing, house training, digging). He came into the shelter jumping on people, but, with good leadership, his energy level has calmed. FROTO is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped for his forever family.
