About SCULLY

American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Scully is in temporary foster from the East Valley animal shelter. He is a staff and volunteer favorite but he will need to back to the shelter soon. He is as loving as can be and is a rockstar in playgroup with other dogs. This is what his foster Mom says about him: 'Scully is very adaptable! He quickly learned how to go down the stairs- the first time, he completely wiped out but after that he started taking them slowly and cautiously and hasn't had a problem since. He rapidly took to home life. He hasn't barked once! He's very tolerant of me brushing him and wiping him with baby wipes. He can be stubborn and headstrong but not in a bad way. He's very respectful about food, I generally eat sitting on the ground and he's given me my space and hasn't tried to snatch anything from me. He's a little velcro-y, he's been stumbling after me wherever I go, but it's only been the first 24 hours, so it's not unexpected. He's been good on leash, a mild pull but is steerable- he doesn't yank me around and listens to me. He gets over things that he's startled by quickly! He was at first frightened by the space heater and the noise my fridge makes (a huge knocking noise) and after less than 24 hours he's over both of those scares and is just ignoring it now.'%A0%A0Scully #A2078352.
