Mikey is a nine-month-old, nine-pound, orange and white tabby with amber-colored eyes looking for the purrfect guardian. Mikey lets anyone pick him up and carry him around, including his former family's five and six-year-old children. He is very easy going. Sadly, he lost his original home due to the children's allergies. He is very well-behaved in the home, uses his litter box faithfully and loves a sturdy and tall scratching post. He comes running when you squeak his favorite toy! Mikey is great with cats, dogs and people of all ages. Mikey is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, virus and fecal-tested negative, dewormed, and microchipped. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting Mikey, please fill in the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ and follow up by e-mailing [email protected] His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
