Charlie is a 13-year old Ragdoll that is a sweet and loving boy to adult owners who he gets familiar/comfortable with. In the interest of full transparency, I am not 100% sure if he is a purebred ragdoll or mixed. I only know that he was identified as a ragdoll when we got him, and every vet he's seen has regarded him as such. It is possible he is mixed, but I don't know the secondary breed, if so. The ideal house for Charlie is one with loving owners, no kids, and no other pets that he'd be in direct contact with. He is a very sweet and gentle cat, but he gets scared quite easily and loves to hide and be by himself. He's not the kind of cat to get for a young child as a surprise. He needs a home where it's generally quiet where he can settle in and get comfortable. He's on the older side, so Charlie has unfortunately lost some teeth recently and may need medical evaluation to be at his healthiest and happiest. His recent evaluation saw him as otherwise healthy, however. Charlie had his rabies shot this year, but has had no other vaccinations in some time. While a great cat, Charlie needs to be rehomed due to his fear of kids and allergies in our home. With him getting older, he'll understandably also need extra love and care, in addition to financial support. We would love to find him a loving home that can meet his needs and help him, rather than turning to a shelter. Thank you for your consideration.
