About Fletch

Fletcher is such a sweet guy, he spent his life on the streets and when animal services caught up with his owner he refused to let him in the house...' he's just an outside dog' was his response. I gave him what I think is his first bath ever. He actually enjoyed the attention, let me trim his nails without issues. Inside the office at animal services he didn't lift his leg. He waited until he was outside again to pee. He enjoyed laying on a soft blanket and the attention. He was heartbroken when he had to go back the the kennels. He is some type of mix, larger, 63 lbs. He is @ 5-7 years old and his body reflects an unhappy life with irresponsible/unkind people. When he went out on a leash, even though he didn't know what the leash was about he tried to be cooperative, again a spark of happiness sent him rolling in the grass joyfully. He is not reactive to cats and appears to get along with other dogs. Fletcher is a nice dog, with a calm demeanor who deserves a life with responsible, loving people.
