About Rusty (Southern Idaho)

Rusty is a playful, happy poodle, He is 9 months old, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations . He is currently about 25lbs and will be around 35lbs full grown. He loves car rides, and has learned to go out and jump in the car when I say, 'let's go for a ride'. He knows we are going for a walk when I pick up his harness, and he walks well on a leash. He loves his toys and loves playing with another dog. He is great about sleeping in his crate at night, but also loves to sleep on the bed with me. When Rusty first came to foster he struggled with so much fear, but the foster has worked through a lot of that. He will still 'put on the brakes' when out for a walk if he becomes overwhelmed. He absolutely needs a home with patience for him to adjust, and most preferably a home with no men. He does great with women and children but has been very fearful of men.
