About Clover

Adoption Fee: $400
American Staffordshire Terrier / Border Collie
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Our pup Clover has had the best possible upbringing. He was born 8/4/22 at our Connecticut Rescue, just 2 weeks after we pulled his Mama, Bonita, from NYCACC.%A0Bonita was pregnant when NY Animal Control Officers found her tied to a gate in Brooklyn.%A0After 5 days, she was transferred to us for whelping.%A0 Bonita was the ideal Mama, and her nine pups have thrived. The pups were weaned effortlessly, and were well socialized since birth. At 13 weeks old, Clover was adopted to folks who sadly have had an abrupt lifestyle change, and are no longer able to take care of him.%A0 Now 1.5 years old, Clover is ready for his new home. He is one of the larger male puppies, at 60 pounds, and has a lean, athletic physique. He has a gentle, sweet vibe and loves all people and most dogs. He would be an excellent choice for a multiple dog home, with adult dogs willing to share the spotlight and mentor a youngster. We have DNA tested the pups to be sure of breed mix, and learned they are 99% American Staffordshire Terrier, and 1% Border Collie.%A0The Border Collie smarts definitely show up in Clover.%A0He has beautiful brindle Staffie coloring with distinctive white markings, and some big ol' Border Collie ears.%A0 Clover would be an excellent choice for a savvy Bully Breed adopter, willing to commit to ongoing training and socialization. He has an insecure streak, so strong leadership will be a must for him. Clover has been born into ideal circumstances, and we seek an adopter willing to raise him as a Canine Good Citizen.%A0 Clover is in excellent health and has been neutered, fully vaccinated and dewormed.%A0He will be neutered next week.%A0If you are interested in Clover, please write to%[email protected]%A0or call Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.
