LOCATION: Paden City, West Virginia DOB: 03/23/2021 (Estimate) Apollo is still with my owner right now. I'm looking for a foster (fosters get first option to adopt!). This way the team can get to know him better and get an all clear from the vet. Read his below! Apollo is a stunning Merle Great Dane in search of his forever home. Apollo's current chapter began when he and his Dane companion were posted on Facebook. A good Samaritan who happened to be a Dane owner and lover took them in. Sadly, it has not worked out. The resident Danes were not very welcoming and there have been conflicts. These were not initiated by Apollo or his bestie. To avoid injuries to all parties, Apollo and his counterpart, Nova, are on a quest for their final frontier. A home where there is peace, harmony and lots of love and affection. Despite the challenges, Apollo remains a gentle and loving soul, eager to find a family where he can thrive. He's good with other dogs, displaying a calm and amiable demeanor in social situations. While his interactions with cats and children are uncertain, his easygoing nature suggests he may adapt well with proper introductions and training. Apollo is a low-energy pup who enjoys leisurely car rides and spending quality time with his human companions. He's potty trained, although recent changes in his environment have led to some confusion, resulting in a few accidents in the house. With patience and consistent training, this issue is expected to improve and he should get back on track. True to his laid-back personality, Apollo is not a big barker or attention-seeker. He's content to quietly enjoy your company, but he'll happily accept affection when invited. While he may not be the brightest pup in the pack, his sweetness and calmness more than make up for any lack in IQ points. While Apollo would ideally be adopted with his buddy Nova, they are not bonded and can go separately to their perfect forever homes.
