About Rio a/k/a Ice

Rio has herding tendencies and wants to try to herd his people. In translation, he LOVES to be around his people and as close as possible. He was left with me in April 2023 what was supposed to be temporary (2 months), but they decided they couldn't keep him. He is kennel and potty trained and trained to sit and shake paw. When we are not home he must be kenneled as he tends to get into everything . We can no longer keep him because my mother is approaching 80 and we are afraid she will trip over him as he tends to charge at us to play with him and rub and push against our legs. He is great with other dogs (he is NOT an alpha). Also, he has learned how to get out of our chicken wire-fenced yard. He needs a stockade fence or a chain link fence that is partially buried in the ground. Doubtful he will be good with cats, but loves other dogs and tries very hard to get them to play with him. He was neutered, vaccinated, and chipped in October 2023, all papers will be provided. He loves people and other dogs. We hate to get rid of him, but we just do not have the time to train him to stay in our yard and concerns for my aging mother. He just needs attention that we just don't have the time or inclination to give. He will be easy to train on a leach and will love to be walked or go on a run daily. He loves to ride in vehicles. The $50.00 fee is for reimbursement for the neutering, chip, vaccinations.
