About Belle

My name is Belle. I was previously named Sophie - I'm about 18 months old - A Border Collie mix - I'm a Spayed female - I weigh 26 lbs - UTD on shots - HW+ but currently on treatment - I live in Bastrop, LA - require vet records. I was found by my foster pawrents, with 4 of my siblings, dumped on a country road November 2023. I went to a new home for about a month where my name was changed. I was returned due to my heartworm status, and my new Mommy found out she was moving and couldn't take me. * I get along well with other dogs. I love to play. * I like kitty cats. I want to play with them. * I'm housebroken and crate trained. * I know basic commands; no, sit, stay, leave it, lay down, and more. * Being Border Collie mix, I am HIGHLY energetic and I require a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. I would likely do well with professional training and would do great in agility training. * I haven't been around children much, but have done well when I have been. * I love to be brushed and tolerate nail trims well. * I am very affectionate and love people. I tend to be a bit of a DIVA. I think the world centers around me, and I try hogging all the attention. If you would like to be my furever family, PLEASE Message Mom.
