About Derrick

I was found by my foster pawrents, with 4 of my siblings, dumped on the side of a country road in November. * I love attention and belly rubs but I'm also very content just sitting near my humans. * I like to play (with chew toys, other dogs and even my pawrents) * I get along well with other dogs. Probably would do best with females though. * I do well with cats. * I'm mostly housebroken. I REALLY want to be an indoor doggie. * I know some basic commands; no, sit, stay, and we are working on lay down and leave it. * I haven't been around children much but have done well when I have been. I would likely do well with older children. * I LOVE being brushed and do well with nail trims. I'm really a calm loving boy, but also very intelligent so Mom recommends activities and further training. I can also be very sensitive, so you will need to be gentle and patient with me. I like to watch everything you do and try to help. My foster Mom says I'm the bestest boi!
