Meet Bear, a young pup, with loads of energy! We have had him since he was only 9 weeks old and have loved him so very much. Unfortunately, we are just not able to keep up with his level of energy and exercise needs. He has attended two rounds of puppy classes. He knows commands: sit, stay, lay down, bed, wait, leave it, go get it, and on walks we are working on look, heel, and not pulling. Recall has been harder, and is very difficult when there are other dogs around. He loves to play and run with other dogs but often finds it hard to know when others have had enough. He loves most all people but has been a bit nervous (just hides not aggressive) around new men. He has been around our kiddos (10 and 7) since we got him. He loves to run and play with them and even knows to hold a ball or chew toy in his mouth when running with them to avoid reflex nipping. But just like when playing with other dogs, he has a hard time knowing when enough is enough. He would love a home with kids, but it will require some more training. We would love to find him the right forever home with a family who can get him the level of daily activity he really needs. He is a sweet boy and loves with just as much energy as he does everything else! He is not currently neutered, but we are willing to have him fixed and chipped with our established vet, for an additional adoption fee to help cover the costs.
