URGENT!!! THIS BOY NEEDS SOMEONE ASAP! [Case opened 3/22/24]. YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO. 1.5 y/o MALE DUTCH SHEPHERD. His name is 'MOOSE '. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. NOT Good with kids. NOT Good with dogs. NOTGood with cats. Stranger Reactive/Aggression. House trained. NOT Crate trained (Will consistently try to break out, and does). Severe Separation Anxiety. High Energy. High Prey Drive. Currently on IAMS food. Weighs 65 lbs. Good with car rides. Favorite Playtime and Toy: Moose loves his ball. 'Ball is life!' Loves to play fetch. Loves crinkly and squeaky toys and bones. He loves going for walks and will sometimes initiate cuddling. He loves to play but he also loves to relax on the couch. Moose is a great boy he just needs a lot of work. He is very loyal. Very protective of his person. He has severe Separation Anxiety and he will destroy things when left alone. He also breaks out of his crate. Current Owner needs to get him rehomed to someone who has the time and experience to work with Moose's Separation Anxiety and appropriately get him Crate trained. Current Owner's schedule is getting busier, which in turn is worsening Moose's behavior. They are too busy to work with him and they're always gone. Moose is very reactive to strangers, kids and animals. Most definitely needs someone who can commit to helping him through these issues.
