About Dewey

Dewey is a happy, active, super smart boy. Some say he's a schnoodle and definately has many of the traits of the breed. Here are a few things we've learned about him. 1. Loves car rides! 2. He's sight impaired, but easily navigated fosters home when he arrived. 3. Olympic gold medal house manners! No marking and goes to the door when he needs out. 4. Looks forward to his walks. He appreciates guidance navigating curbs, plants and obstacles. Because he's sight impaired, he's more sensitive to dogs approaching and needs redirection with reward. He responds quickly when a correction is made. 6. He is eager to please and happiest when he is with his people. 7. Dewey sleeps all night, peacefully, in his bed on the floor next to foster. Not a peep all night. 8. He likes to know where his people are at all times and will need a family who will build his confidence. Coming into his foster home is another change in a short period of time for sweet Dewey but his heart is bursting with love and he's not demanding. He just wants the simple things.
