Hi there. We are rehoming our sweet pit bull at no fault of her own. She's 6, great with older kids, all humans and bigger dogs or dogs her size but she does like to be the boss so it's best she is placed with submissive dogs. She currently lives with a 12-year-old and a 1year-old, however when we aren't around, she has nipped at the baby a few times. She is up to date on all vaccinations and heart worm prevention. Fixed. Lives with a cat- very interested but never any issues. We rescued her from being euthanized in Memphis about four years ago, she had a broken femur at time of rescue that she had surgery on, so she does favor that side. She also had heartworms that she's been completely cleared of and from by cardiology and has been on heartworm prevention since, she has no other medical issues. The ideal home would be a family that has older kids and has time to love on her. We are rehoming her because my husband is in school full time, and we are expecting our third child soon. We just don't have time for her, and i can tell she is sad which breaks my heart.
