About Mack 3scruffy-terrier

Hey, everyone! I'm Mack, a super-sweet, outgoing, friendly, spirited 19-pound Miniature Schnauzer mix fella who was born about September 2022. I'm mostly black/ brown brindle with white tuxedo markings. My coat coloring indicates that maybe I'm mixed with some Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or Corgi because Schnauzers never are brindle and never have white markings. I'm 'sweet as can be' with adults and kids. I get along with large dogs with proper, gradual introductions but don't do well with barking dogs. I'm an adorable scruffy terrier with a wiry coat that will need some grooming. I'm very home- and family- oriented, but I still make a pretty good watchdog! Schnauzers were created to be all-around farm dogs and ratters, so I'm tough, muscular, and fearless without being aggressive. I'm small enough to adapt to apartment life but tireless enough to patrol acres of farmland. Given the chance, I would probably be a pretty enthusiastic squirrel chaser! My family must provide outlets for my upbeat athleticism. I'm a sturdy fella who really enjoys vigorous play. I can hold my own retrieving tennis balls at the dog park, if that's your pleasure. My bright eyes gleam with keen intelligence. I'm very smart and consequently easily trainable when my hooman is gentle but firm with me. A Good Samaritan found me as a stray on the mean streets of Houston. I'd been attacked by a pack of dogs, which explains my mistrust of barking dogs. I'm so glad that my rescuer brought me to Miss Donna to find me a safe, loving home. Am I ever ready to meet you! We Schnauzers are 'the whole canine package' because we're sociable companions and alert watchdogs who are good with kids yet protective of loved ones. What more could you want? I'm sure that I'll have a new family soon, so don't waste any time arranging to meet me today. Mack is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
