About Luna

Our little Luna is 5 years old. She is energetic, playful, independent, and is more than happy to nap most of the day. We are finding her a new forever home because of a particular behavior condition she suffers from. To the best of our understanding, she seems to suffer from stress or anxiety attacks from time to time. When she acts like this, she only wants to be left alone and doesn't want attention. She will go to her food bowl and lay down next to it, guarding it. These attacks are not a common occurrence (maybe once every 2 months) and pass rather quickly. They are very manageable for an adult, and older, respecting children. Unfortunately, we have a young toddler and another baby on the way. The toddler doesn't know to leave her be and this situation has made home life difficult. Because of this, we want her to have a long, happy life in the home of a single person, couple, or family with older children.
