Hey there, everyone! I'm Pearl, a super-sweet, happy, confident, stable, and outgoing 45-pound gray with white American Staffordshire Terrier/ Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix gal who was born about March 2021. I'm a real sweetheart who loves everyone - adult, kids, and other dogs. Physically, I have a short, broad head and an impressive rock-solid, muscular, athletic build with my deep, broad chest. Yet I have surprisingly long legs that suggest strength and agility. I need a rigorous daily exercise regimen to maintain my muscle tone. I know I look like a foreboding bully, but I'm a canine marshmallow who loves to give kisses and play with my toys. We Staffies are known to be gentle and loving toward people, sweet-natured, extremely loyal, trustworthy, and affectionate -- which all add up to making us an ideal family pet. We're noted for displaying an overwhelming eagerness to please our family. Confident, yet not aggressive, we possess a very all-round mild, playful, pleasant temperament. In my humble opinion, I think all these attributes describe me 'to a T.' A Good Samaritan found me as a stray running the mean streets of Houston. I'm so glad that I was brought to Miss Donna to find me a wonderful new home. If you're looking for a true-blue loyal companion, I'm your gal! I hope you'll arrange to meet me! I may look like a canine gladiator on the outside, but I'm one of the sweetest, most ebullient gals you'll ever meet. By the way, I have dry eyes, so I'll need medicine to be put in my eyes daily. Pearl is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, heartworm negative, crate-trained, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
