About PANCHO-Urgent

American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Update: Out on Good Samaritan!!! Will update soon Urgent!!! East Valley Shelter has a 6 year old American Staffordshire on Orange Alert!!! Pancho is in our critical care medical room. He needs to see a private Veterinarian. Medical Notes: Pancho went for a pre-adoption neuter. while sedated, the veterinarian performed cystocentesis and found a large amount of blood with blood clots Performed abdominal ultrasound- noted bladder stone in addition to cystic-like structures in the prostate gland Thought there may have been a mass at the neck of the bladder but after filling the bladder with saline, did not appreciate a definitive mass. Dog will need further diagnostics to address the prostate issue and the bladder stone. Animals appearing on the Orange Alert are not irremediably suffering but require urgent and/or extensive medical care beyond what LAAS can provide. If at any time an animal's injury or illness is determined by the Department's veterinary staff to be medically extensive or severe, that animal may be humanely euthanized for irremediable suffering without any prior notice.
