About Mac

Mac and his housemate (who is not yet available) were surrendered by their owner. Purchased as puppies, their owner's schedule changed and now involves a great amount of travel. Rather than leave them for weeks at a time, the decision was made to find them homes where they will receive the love and attention they need and deserve. The owner described Mac as attention loving and playful. He is good with cats, other dogs, children, men, and women. He is a big, strong boy and will need a very strong handler. Although mostly housetrained, he is prone to some accidents. This could easily be overcome with consistent attention, we believe. Mac is also crate trained. Mac was heartworm positive on arrival, but will be treated by our medical team. In the meantime, he is welcome to go home with you as a foster to adopt. This is an awesome program which enable you to spend time together bonding, as well as giving Mac the benefit of recuperating in a home.
