About Mowgli

Mowgli is a 14 lbs, 8 year old loving and sweet, gentle male dog who needs rehoming due to international relocation of his parents. Mowgli has been part of his family since the summer of 2017, when he was adopted at approximately 1 years old. He is available for adoption immediately. Mowgli is a rescue, believed to be a mix of miniature Italian Greyhound and Miniature Pinscher. He is muscular and energetic, his favorite activity is chasing squirrels in the back yard and on walks. While resting, he prefers to be near his parents and loves to curl up on the couch right next to or on his parent's lap, preferably under a blanket. He rarely barks, usually only to warn you when visitors approach the house. Mowgli sleeps wonderfully in a crate padded with soft things and a loose blanket he'll make sure he's under. Sleeping from 7pm-7am is easy for him. Completely house-trained. Mowgli is smart and very responsive to hearing his name. He's always eager to please his parents and is very submissive. He loves food and treats.Mowgli is in excellent health and up to date on all his vaccinations. The only time he visits the vet is for vaccination boosters. During extensive travel by both parents, Mowgli has been taken care of by a loving family friend who is available to talk about any questions you might have.
