Name: Toby - We lovingly call him Toblerone, Tobias, and Tobe Tobe. Breed: Boxer Mix Gender: Male Age: 8 Months Good with dogs (big+small?): Good with all sized dogs Good with cats: Loves cats, they look like so much fun! He responds well to 'Leave It' when you want him to leave them alone. Good with kids? (If so, what ages): He is good with kids. He would do best with older children that can respect his space. He plays well, is very loving, and is always excited to see children. He however would not like them to hug him too tightly or be in his face when he is resting or eating. He is learning not to jump and does knock smaller children down. Good with men: He is good with men. Crate trained/in process of: He is crate trained, and likes to lay in his crate. Doggy door trained: He is not doggy door trained. Leash trained: He is leash trained. Knows any tricks: He does not know tricks. But he does do a little jump twirl dance when excited. He can sit for treats. He will fetch and drop the toy gently. Likes: He loves playing with other dogs and his humans, playing in water, FOOD, playing fetch, the laser pointer, the dog park, walks at the park, hiking, bubbles, snuggling in bed, a comfy pillow and blanket, his stuffed toys, and tennis balls. Dislikes: He loves everything, he would just prefer to have his space respected when he is making it clear that he is ready to rest or have some down time. He is not too fond of the car. He gets nervous. He does love the adventure at the end of the car ride though. Must haves: Daily play and exercise. Apartment dog: He would do fine in an apartment if he gets ample play and walks during the day. He is a very active dog, but does rest on the couch or in a crate while his human is working. Fun facts: He is a goofball. He has legs like a deer and bounces around and twirls. He regularly sleeps on his back with his legs in the air. He will randomly fall off of furniture and is clumsy in a cute way. Ideal home: Toby would do best in an active home. He loves the company of another dog to play with.
