About Tito

*** !!! ABSOLUTE LOVE BUNNY!!! *** Tito is a 2-year-old purebred silver Bengal that was born in a reputable cattery (since closed down). He was purchased as a kitten by a family that already had several other cats. Like many Bengals, Tito didn't want to be the newest member in a large clouder, which was very challenging for his family to manage. We brought Tito into our program three months ago and his foster family absolutely ADORES HIM. His fosters tell us that he is the most loving Bengal that they have ever met. He loves being petted and his favorite thing to do at night is to snuggle into his foster Daddy's lap for the night. Like many other Bengals, Tito is very active and loves running on his cat wheel and chasing his feather wand. Tito would do really well in a quiet, stress free environment. He could do well with a cat-friendly cat, provided there are careful introductions. Tito hasn't been around dogs so we can't say whether or not he would adjust to a cat-friendly dog. Unfortunately, the nature of fostering does require that the foster cat must be separated from other pets in the home (unless all of the pets are welcoming to each other). In Tito's case he gets along fine with one of the cats in the home, but the other cat is very Alpha and has not rolled out the red carpet for him. For this reason, we are seeing some separation anxiety. Tito needs an easygoing home that is consistent with schedules and routine. In the past, when he has been stressed due to separation anxiety, he has ingested small objects that resulted in surgical removal. For this reason he cannot live in a home with children under the age of 12 - he'll need to live in a very neat / tidy environment. Tito is on a raw diet and loves Churu. This is something that would need to be continued for his gut health. Tito is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations.
