Queso was seen wandering the rural streets of Waynesville, Ga., with who we suspect is his mom, limping and unable to use his back left leg at all. Some good Samaritans contacted SGER to see if we could take him and his mom in, while we weren't able to take mom in at the time, we got her safe in a temporary foster home. Queso needed more care and near future vet visits. Queso will be available the mid April 2024 as his amputation is 3/21/24 and he will need time to heal. Since being in foster, Queso has done wonderfully with cats, dogs, and all people. He had an amazing personality and temperament that just radiates love and gentleness. This boy, once healed, will make a wonderful addition to any household that's willing love him just the way he is and deserves to be loved.
