About Daisy

Adoption Fee: $600
Great Dane
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

LOCATION: Greeneville, Tennessee DOB: 03/17/2022 (Estimate) Hi! I'm still with my owner right now. I'm looking for a foster (fosters get first option to adopt!). This way the team can get to know me better and get an all clear from the vet. Read my bio below! Nala and Daisy are two beautiful female Great Danes who were raised together from puppyhood. These sweet girls find themselves in search of a new home due to unforeseen health issues and life changes affecting their owners. They are gentle souls who thrive on love and companionship. While they may need some time to warm up to new dogs, once they do, they prove to be excellent companions, fostering friendships once the ice is broken. Their interactions with the family cat are equally harmonious. They don't bother it at all. When it comes to young children they exhibit a natural caution, preferring to steer clear rather than interact. Because of their size and lack of self-awareness, older children would be better suited for these gals. Both girls are well-trained in the basics, including housebreaking, leash manners, and crate training. However, they do have their quirks-namely, a penchant for jumping on people and a fondness for chewing on wood, much to the dismay of porch poles everywhere. They will also growl and scratch on doors. But with a little patience and guidance, these habits can be easily redirected. In terms of temperament, Daisy, the Merle Dane, exudes confidence and charisma, often taking charge in new situations with her bold demeanor. While her initial bark may sound tough, it's merely a front for her playful nature, which shines through once she feels safe and secure. On the other hand, Nala is the more cautious of the pair, expressing her nerves through frequent barking and a clingy disposition. Despite her vocal tendencies, Nala's love for her people is undeniable, and she finds comfort in their presence. While both girls would benefit from some additional training, they find solace in each other's company and share a bond having been raised together. Although they share a bond, they are NOT a bonded pair. . They would do okay being separated, but would need a little bit of time to adjust. Whether together or apart, Nala and Daisy's loyalty and affection make them the perfect companions for a loving family willing to welcome them into their hearts and home. With their gentle spirits and loving personalities, these two remarkable beauties are sure to bring joy and laughter to any household lucky enough to foster either one-OR BOTH! ========================= To apply to foster me, please fill out the application! https://form.jotform.com/60263115921144 .
