About Bear

Bear is a beautiful kind soul. He loves his humans (specifically women) and is very loyal. He needs to be in a home as the only animal as his story is rough. He was bred in New York and used as a bait dog. Our non profit bought him off the streets from a gang, when they realized he wouldn't make a proper fighting dog and was useless as a bait dog. He was in really bad shape when we got him - but right away he trusted us. He allowed us to bathe him and get his wounds healed. He is the best boy and we love him, and we want to find the very best home for him. He is HIGHLY intelligent! Like really really smart! Should be a police dog! Bear is a huge cuddler but also can jump 7 feet, talk about athletic! Super agile boy! Bear rides well in cars and never has accidents in the house. He is kennel trained inside the house and should remain this way as leaving him gives him time to investigate everything, and lets just say he is inquisitive. Please take a chance on our sweet boy!
