About Vanilla Bean

Hi, I'm Vanilla Bean.. I am fostered in Portland, OR. My friends call me Nilly or Nilla. I am a 7 pound, 5 year old Chihuahua. I'm happy, affectionate and playful. I love cuddling with my human, sleeping in their bed, taking walks, riding in the car. and playing with toys. I am house trained. I will do best with an adult only home as I am tiny. I would love to either be an only dog, or to live with one easygoing confident dog. I prefer women but I do cuddle in bed with my foster dad. I love to sit on your lap and to snuggle. I am fine with a gentle man in my home if he won't be put out if I prefer the women. I have been spayed, de-wormed, vaccinated and I'm on flea, tick and heartworm preventatives. My adoption donation is $300. A great home for Nilly and her must haves include: 1. a home with a securely fenced yard. 2. A home with a woman, and if there is a man, a gentle man who will not pressure Nilly to be held or sit with him until she is comfortable. In our foster home, it took two weeks before she elected to get into her foster dad's lap. 3. A home where she is the only dog. or if there is another, the dog is easygoing and confident and non-reactive. 2. Adopters who are not gone long hours and who will treat me as a family member. 3. Nilly would prefer to sleep in her people's bed, but she would be okay sleeping in her own. 4. She seeks a home where she will be taken for daily walks and included in her family's fun activities.
