We are in urgent need of finding a patient and loving home, or a foster (foster-to-adopt) and rescue for this pretty, younger chow mix who the shelter has named Kern but we are calling Kerry. She was found as a stray and sadly his owner never showed. Kerry is 54 lbs and is estimated to be only 3 years old and has a beautiful fawn colored coat. We think she may also be part shepherd. Some of her shelter notes state, 'Dog rode well in the bucket. Once in yard, dog untucked tail and approached handler. Dog allowed handler to pet again, but did not solicite attention. Dog took treats well. Dog displayed a relaxed mouth. Dog did not want to get back into bucket. Handler lifted into bucket. Dog returned to kennel with no issue. Go slow recommended'.
