About Lana

Hello, my name is Lana (given to me by my temporary foster mom). I am a sweet girl who follows instructions very well. I love to play fetch and can even catch the ball mid-air, my preferred thing to do. I am about 2 years old or slightly younger and need a place to run around freely. My foster mom took me in as I was wandering about the streets and even caused traffic to stop on February 20, 2024. I have been posted in PawBoost, ACCT Philly, Ring App, NextDoor App, FB and Instagram but my former owners have not attempted to locate me and I don't have a micro-chip. I know they loved me because I am housetrained, I showed my foster mom that I know how to fetch and will try to sneak on her bed (she doesn't allow that, but I did manage to get comfy for a few minutes when she was doing something else). I don't mind going for walks, but what I really want is a place to run around off leash, it really kinda sucks because I'm born to run! My foster mom took me in for a check-up and got my rabies vaccine just to play it safe. I would do great in a home that has a high fenced yard with room to run and if you have some kids that would be great - they won't get tired of throwing the ball to me. I am very teachable. Oh, and I don't mind sitting in the crate for a timeout (more like I'm outta breath from playing and my foster mom says I need to settle down) - don't shut me in and leave me though. I can be left alone in a room or smaller space in the house if you can't leave me outside when you need to go out. Please help find me a loving home, my temporary foster mom doesn't know how much longer she can keep me. I have really tired her out and it's getting harder because she has no choice but to take me on long walks. I love her, but it is getting hard for her, and I know she wants me to live my BEST LIFE.
