About Bruce

Bruce is a young energetic boy being fostered in Houston, Tx that is about 2 years old. He is crate trained, Potty Trained, Up to date on vaccinations and was recently neutered. He loves playing with toys especially balls. Loves to play fetch! He can be energetic but a walk around the block will do. If you take him on a longer walk about 30-45 mins he will be super calm throughout the day. He gets along with his foster's pack of all medium or larger sized females. Bull terriers tend to tolerate him better. He tends to play more with the bull terries. A dog with the same hardiness and energy level will be good for him. We are unsure how he does with male dogs. He knows basic commands sit, here, quiet, wait, up, eat, and is working on 'down'. He would also do great with no other dogs since he tends to play on his own and ignores dogs from time to time. He absolutely loves human attention! Over-all he is a great dog that's ready to find his own home. He is ready to share all the love he can give. He loves meeting new people and has met a couple 7-8 year olds and did great with them. Younger kids we recommend supervision because he hasn't been around them as much. No small animals such as rabbits or cats. Small dogs will probably be a no. He enjoys warm baths and does great for nail trims! He's a sweet boy!
