About Koa

This mini Cattledog is Koa, a spunky mom who is now ready for her forever home. Koa weighs between 20-25 pounds and is 3 years old. Koa knows sit, down, and come. She is house and crate trained. Koa is a fantastic ball fetcher and is athletic despite her pixie size. Koa is a hint tentative meeting new people but warms up when given just a moment. She hasn't been around many kids, so she isn't likely a fit for small kids or busy families. Koa can be tentative meeting new dogs, and sometimes barks. She just needs polite introductions as she lives with another dog and even enjoys playing with him. She likely isn't a dog park gal but would be fine with another respectful dog somewhat close to her size. Koa is great on leash (click on the red YouTube button to watch her fetch and walk on leash). She will need someone to take it slow as she isn't used to busy neighborhoods. She is also good in the car so could be a lovely travel pal. Koa is a sweet, smart dog that will excel with her own active human. Don't let her short legs fool you. She does need activity and would be perfect for hiking, joggers, and even trail runners. When the fun is done, Koa is happy watching TV and hanging on your lap/on the sofa. She does appreciate a good club chair and loves tummy rubs. Koa is a foxy girl that has the most adorable little trot! Koa is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
